GLASS & QUARTZ ANNEALING FURNACES

USES: This furnace was designed primarily for annealing glass, and use as a bake out oven; however, it can be used for any purpose requiring controlled temperature up to 2250°F. When ordering, state temperature range desired.

CONTROLS: A Cress Electronic Control provides accurate dependable temperature control. The thermocouple break protection automatically turns the furnace off in case of damage to the thermocouple or lead wire.
This means you can accurately time the "soaking" period at the desired temperature.

ELEMENTS: High temperature wire elements are coiled and fastened in grooves in the side walls in such a manner as to give uniform heat throughout without the use of fans.

GENERAL CONSTRUCTION: Heavy angle steel frame with 18 gauge sheet panels form the case. The walls are constructed of 4 1/2" of the finest quality insulating brick backed up by high temperature block insulation. Counterweight lid opens easily. Lid is insulated with ceramic fiber insulation.
