CI Series Crucible Furnace
The CI Series Crucible Furnace is designed for operating temperatures up to 1600°C. The CI Series Furnaces feature coil heating elements that provide long life at elevated temperatures. MELLEN uses a quality low mass ceramic fiber insulation for thermal efficiency. The CI 14, CI 15 and CI 16 models utilize platinum elements, for superior quality.
The furnace's outer skin consists of a 18 gauge stainless steel shell that assures maintenance free durability. The bottom 1/4" thick steel end plate is reinforced to prevent thermal distortion.
The CI Series is available in the following models all with a round bore:
Model: CI11 with a maximum temperature of 1100°C
Model: CI13 with a maximum temperature of 1300°C
Model: CI14 with a maximum temperature of 1400°C
Model: CI15 with a maximum temperature of 1500°C
Model: CI16 with a maximum temperature of 1600°C
