The CS Series Crucible Furnace is designed for operating temperatures up to 1500°C. The CS Series Furnaces are designed for the rigorous demands of the metal melting industry. The CS Series furnace is recommended for gold melting. The elements are resistant to the fluxes required for gold melting.
The hot zone materials used in the internal chamber are designed to withstand the caustic fluxes often associated with precious metal melting.
The CS Series Crucible Furnace Silicon Carbide elements are strategically located to radiate uniformly to the internal chamber. The resilient primary insulation is backed up by quality low thermal mass, ceramic fiber insulation for thermal efficiency.
The furnace's outer skin consists of a 18 gauge stainless steel shell that assures maintenance free durability. The top and bottom 1/4" thick steel end plate are reinforced to prevent thermal distortion.
The CS Series is available in the following models all with a round bore:
Model: CS13 with a maximum temperature of 1300°C
Model: CS14 with a maximum temperature of 1400°C
Model: CS15 with a maximum temperature of 1500°C
