Split Furnaces

MELLEN Series Split Furnaces are specially engineered using a reinforced, double walled steel construction that provides a cooler exterior, designed to maintain its shape over time.

The "Split" design provides easy access to the chamber for loading and unloading.

MELLEN offers split furnaces in a variety of temperature ranges for your needs:
SC Series up to 1300°C
SS Series up to 1500°C
SD Series up to 1800°C
SV Series up to 1300°C


In order to be cost effective, MELLEN recommends purchasing a furnace with the most conservative temperature range for your applications. Please allow us to help you select the furnace that will be most applicable for your needs, by choosing one that meets your temperature needs.

MELLEN offers many variations of the Splits Furnace Line including:

MELLEN ROUND SPLIT FURNACES- Additionally, MELLEN offers the above models in a round format, designed to fit in a minimum amount of space, with a round outer shell. SCR Series, SSR Series and SDR Series Split Furnaces. The single goal of the Round Split Furnaces is solely economic use of space. It is therefore recommended that the standard splits be utilized when applicable.

MELLEN EXPANDABLE SPLIT FURNACE- MELLEN designed the expandable split furnaces for our customer's desiring additional length to their furnaces. The Expandable Split furnace is easy to assemble, complete with functioning lights and multiple zones. Please inquire about this option if desired.
