SS Series Split Furnace

Mellen SC Series Split Furnace The SS series furnaces ensure reliability and durability with doubled wall steel construction that provides s cooler exterior that maintains it shape after repeated thermal cycling. The SS Series Split Furnaces utilize the strength of the silicon carbide element, rod style heating element. The silicon carbide elements operate with surface watt loading for longer life at elevated temperatures.

The SC Series is available in the following models all with a round bore:
Model: SS14 with a maximum temperature of 1400°C
Model: SS15 with a maximum temperature of 1500°C
Model: SS16 with a maximum temperature of 1600°C

The SS Series furnace can be made according to desired bore size. MELLEN offers a wide range of bore sizes from 3/4" to 20" I.D. (inner diameter).

Standard Equipment for the SC Series models include:
One thermocouple port centered in each control zone
Coated Firebrick Vestibules at each end
A power cord
Anti-tip support feet
